Consider the following scenario:
| • | Mailboxes are located on a Microsoft Exchange Server
2007-based server. |
| • | The organizer sends a meeting request to attendees. In
addition, the organizer granted Editor permissions
to an attendee on the Calendar folder. |
| • | The attendee who
was granted Editor permissions accepts the meeting
request. |
| • | This attendee uses a
Web services application to update the meeting. However, the attendee does
not update the meeting
time. |
In this scenario, you find that the time of an update
meeting request is incorrect if the attendee uses a Web services application to
modify an appointment item. If the organizer modifies the appointment item, the
time is correct.
This problem occurs because Web services
does not use the correct time zone information. In this case, incorrect start
times and end times occur when the meeting request is updated.
