MORE INFORMATION All the application event logs mentioned above are related
to a conflict between CIM and Performance Monitor Counters used by either
Windows NT services or applications installed, such as SNA Server, TCP/IP, TAPI
(Telephony API) and the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
This event can also be seen in relationship to other services that are associated with Compaq Inside Management Agent as recently as Version 6.0. The Event 1010 references TCP/IP instead of SNA. Stopping the Compaq NIC Agent will stop the event from being logged.
