SYMPTOMS

When you install Office 2000, you do not see the following features displayed in the Microsoft Office 2000: Selecting Features dialog box:

Microsoft Find Fast Control Panel (listed under Office Tools)
Converters for Search Tools (listed under Converters and Filters -- Text Converters)

You do not see these features in the Microsoft Office 2000: Selecting Features dialog box if you are using Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows XP. These features are intentionally hidden and turned off (disabled) on this version of Windows.
