The entries that are listed in the Media Guide are stored in the Wmplibrarycharacters.db database file, where characters is a series of characters that may differ on different computers. To remove these entries:

IMPORTANT: Although the following procedure removes the Media Guide entries, it also removes all playlists, track information and links. After you perform the following procedure, the deletion is permanent.
  1. Click Start, point to Search or Find, and then click Files or Folders.
  2. Type wmplibrary*.db, and then press ENTER.
  3. Right-click the Wmplibrarycharacters.db file, and then click Rename. Rename this file to an .old file extension.

    NOTE: If you choose to restore this file at a later time, repeat steps 1-3, but click Delete instead of Rename in step 3, and then rename your original file (with the .old file extension) to the .db file extension.
