You use a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, or a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based computer to connect to a Web site. The Web site is hosted on Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6. The Web site requires a certificate. You download and install the certificate. You export the certificate. You successfully import the certificate on a Windows 2000-based computer, a Windows XP-based computer, or a Windows Server 2003-based computer. You try to use the computer on which you imported the certificate to connect to the Web site that is hosted on the server that is running IIS 6. In this scenario, you may be unable to connect to the server that is running IIS 6 from the computer on which you imported the certificate. You may receive an error message that resembles one of the following: Error message 1 Cannot find server or DNS Error Error message 2 The page cannot be displayed CAUSEThis issue can occur if you did not select the Include all certificates in the certification path if possible option when you exported the certificate from the original client computer.
