Error message when you run Common Gateway Interface programs on a computer that is running Internet Information Services 6.0: "HTTP 502.2 - Error in CGI application"

When you run Common Gateway Interface (CGI) programs on a computer that is running Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0, you may receive the following error message:Note You may receive this error message when the computer that running IIS 6.0 operates under heavy load conditions.

This problem occurs if initialization of the User32.dll file fails because of a particular race condition. This race condition occurs with the open process and the release process of a window station object.
