Opera browsers may crash if they use TLS to connect to an IIS 7.0 Web server that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008

You have installed a Transport Layer Security (TLS) server certificate on a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer that is running Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0. However, if the TLS server certificate contains an Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) authority information access (AIA) extension, Opera browsers that use TLS to connect to a Web site that is located on the IIS 7.0 Web server may crash.

This issue occurs because of the way Opera browsers parse the TLS extension that indicates server support for OCSP stapling.

To resolve this issue, download and then install Opera Web browser version 9.26 or a later version.
