SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install Internet Explorer 4.x, you may receive the following error message:
The version of Internet Explorer you are installing does not fully support Arabic, Hebrew, or Thai. If you want to keep full support for the version currently installed on your computer, you should quit Setup.

Do you want to continue?
If you click Yes, Setup continues.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you install Internet Explorer 4.x after uninstalling Internet Explorer 5 or 6.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

This error message is for informational purposes only. Internet Explorer 5 or 6 provides multilanguage support by using the Mlang.dll shared-component file. Because the Mlang.dll file is a shared component, it is not removed when you uninstall Internet Explorer 5 or 6.
