When you are using the command interface or accessing information in Event Viewer, the Network Load Balancing (NLB) component is called WLBS.

Windows NT Load Balancing Service (WLBS) is the name of the load balancing component available for Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Enterprise Edition. Network Load Balancing (NLB) is the name of the load balancing component in Windows 2000. WLBS and NLB provide the same functionality.

The command-line interface for NLB is wlbs. For information about its switches, type wlbs -?.

When you need to find Event log entries related to NLB, search for the source name "WLBS". All event messages identify themselves as coming from WLBS.
