SYMPTOMS

You may receive the following error message on a blue screen:

CAUSE

This error message can occur if there is a Xircom CEM56-100 adapter installed in your computer. The Xircom CreditCard Ethernet 10/100 + Modem56 PCMCIA (CEM56-100) adapter is not supported with Windows 2000.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, remove the adapter and driver.
