Printing in Outlook 98 on Windows NT 4.0 Causes STOP 0x00000001E

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to use the print function in Microsoft Outlook 98 on a computer running Windows NT, your computer may stop responding (hang) and display the following error message:
STOP: 0x00000001E KMODE_EXCEPT_NOT_HANDLE: win32k.sys
(0xC0000005, 0xA00037C4, 0x00000000, 0x00000004)
NOTE: The four parameters in parenthesis may be different on your computer than the ones noted above.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
