Works Suite: Unable to Import Address from the Windows Address Book

When you create a single envelope or mailing label document in Microsoft Works Suite, you are unable to import an address from the Microsoft Windows Address Book.

This behavior occurs because Microsoft Word 2000, which is the word processor included in Works Suite, does not recognize the format for entering addresses used by the Windows Address Book.

To work around this issue, manually type the addresses on each envelope or mailing label.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
