SYMPTOMS

When you press CTRL+D to delete an appointment in Microsoft Works 2000 Calendar, the appointment is not deleted.

CAUSE

The CTRL+D key combination does not invoke the delete command in the Works 2000 calendar.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:

Right-click the appointment you want to delete, click Delete Item, and then click Yes.
Click the appointment you want to delete, click the Delete button on the toolbar, and then click Yes.
