Works 2000: Pressing CTRL+D Does Not Delete a Calendar Appointment

SYMPTOMS

When you press CTRL+D to delete an appointment in Microsoft Works 2000 Calendar, the appointment is not deleted.

CAUSE

The CTRL+D key combination does not invoke the delete command in the Works 2000 calendar.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:
  • Right-click the appointment you want to delete, click Delete Item, and then click Yes.
  • Click the appointment you want to delete, click the Delete button on the toolbar, and then click Yes.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
