Works: Spreadsheet Is Blank in Print Preview and on Printed Output

SYMPTOMS

When you preview or print a spreadsheet in one of the programs listed at the beginning of this article, you may experience the following symptoms:
  • A blank spreadsheet may be displayed in the Print Preview window.

  • The printed spreadsheet may be blank.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the print area is not configured properly.

RESOLUTION

To configure the print area properly:
  1. Start Works Spreadsheet.
  2. Open the spreadsheet that you want to print.
  3. Select the cells that you want to preview or print.
  4. On the File menu, click Set Print Area.
  5. Click OK.
  6. On the File menu, click Print Preview or Print.
