SYMPTOMS

When you are creating a stacked bar chart in Microsoft Works Spreadsheet, negative data values are displayed as positive values.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use a stacked line chart to graph your data values.

To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Select the data values to be charted.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Create New Chart.
  3. For Chart type, click Stacked Line, and then click OK.
