When you click Start, point to Programs, and then click Microsoft Works, Works Calendar may be missing from the Microsoft Windows Start menu.
You can still start Microsoft Works Calendar from the Works Task Launcher and it works as expected. CAUSE
This problem can occur if Home Publishing 2000 is installed on the same computer as Works, and you then remove Home Publishing 2000 from your computer.
RESOLUTION
