Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry
WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may
require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve
problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own
risk.
Start Windows Explorer.
Locte the following folder, C:\Windows\Installer.
Right-click the folder, and then click Delete.
When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
In the Drives box, click the disk where Works Suite 2000 is installed (typically C), and then click OK.
On the Disk Cleanup tab, click to select the following check boxes:
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin
Temporary Files
Click OK.
When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
Click My Computer in the left pane.
On the Registry menu, click Export Registry File.
In the Export Registry File dialog box, click Desktop in the Save in box.
In the File name box, name the file, and then click Save.
Locate each of the following registry keys: Note Not all of the keys may appear on your computer.

Start Windows Explorer.
Locate the following folder: C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Installer.
Right-click the folder, and then click Delete.
When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
Loate the following folder: C:\Windows\Temp.
On the Edit menu, click Select All, and then press DELETE.
When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
