If you are running Windows 2000 as a Terminal Services server and the client sessions are encrypted, clients may intermittently lose their connection. When this occurs, entries similar to the following entry are recorded in the System event log:
Event Type: Error Event Source: TermDD Event Category: None Event ID: 50 Date: 10.05.2001 Time: 10:33:10 User: N/A Computer: Computer Description: The RDP protocol component "DATA ENCRYPTION" detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client. CAUSE
In a low-bandwidth network with fragmented IP frames, encrypted frames that are sent by a client may not be decrypted correctly.
