When you are offline, the names of some locally cached files may change. If you attempt to open the files when their name is changed, you may receive the following error message:
There was an error opening this document the file does not exist
CAUSE
This problem occurs because offline cashed file names are modified if the file names are nine characters in length and the short file names feature is disabled.
