The _NCB structure that is returned when a NetBIOS Listen call completes may have a changed server name offset.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows XP Service Pack 1.
