Article ID: 318690 - Last Review: February 1, 2007 - Revision: 3.4 Device Manager Prints an Incorrect Total/Free Disk Size in the Resource Summary ReportThis article was previously published under Q318690 SYMPTOMS
When you print the Resource Summary report by using Device Manager, the total and free disk sizes may be incorrect for some of the disk drives. If your disk drive partition is larger than 4 gigabytes (GB), the printed report may show the incorrect total and free size for that disk. If the disk partition is smaller than 4 GB, the printed report shows the correct total and free size for that disk.
CAUSE
Device Manager is using an incorrect string format to print the large (64-bit) disk sizes.
