SYMPTOMS

When you try to schedule a conference by using an authenticated client that does not have a mailbox, you receive the following error message from Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server:
Server Error Date/Time

The Exchange Conferencing Service encountered a server error.

Please try the following:
Contact your system administrator.
Sending the message Error #8004D002: Unable to schedule the specified conference. Microsoft Exchange 2000

Service pack information

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 3.
