You may receive a message that states that Norton Antivirus is open when you try to install Works 7.0

When you try to install Microsoft Works 7.0, you may receive a message that Norton Antivirus is open. When you receive this error message, you cannot continue the installation.

This issue may occur if Norton Antivirus is disabled. Although Norton Antivirus is disabled, the process continues to run and interferes with the Works Installation Wizard.

To work around this issue, use the Task Manager to find and to stop the Norton Antivirus process.

1. Right-click the taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
2. Click the Processes tab.
3. In the Image Name list, click Navapp.exe, and then click End Process.
4. Install Works 7.0, and then restart your computer.
