Article ID: 811367 - Last Review: October 26, 2006 - Revision: 1.6 The System Cleanup Folder folder is not removed after you install Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3
On This PageSYMPTOMSAfter you install Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3 (SP3), the System Cleanup folder is created by Mailbox Manager. The System Cleanup folder is supposed to replace the old System Cleanup Folder folder. However, the System Cleanup Folder folder is still in the mailbox and still contains items. When you install Exchange 2000 Service Pack 3, you expect the items in the old folder to be moved to the new folder. You expect the old folder to be removed. Note The System Cleanup Folder folder may use a translated name if a non-English version of Exchange is installed. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
