This article describes how to configure the Exchange 2000 Server in order to receive internet mail that contains Arabic language.

To enable Exchange 2000 to receive e-mail from the Internet with Arabic characters:
  1. Open Exchange 2000 system manager program
  2. Select Global settings and expand it
  3. Select Internet Message format
  4. Right click on default and select properties
  5. Click on the message format tab
  6. Change the character set for both MIME and Non-MIME to Arabic (Windows 1256).
