The body of an e-mail message does not appear as expected in an OWA 2003 e-mail message that contains Korean DBCS characters

SYMPTOMS

If you receive an e-mail message that contains Korean double-byte character set (DBCS) characters in the Subject box and in the body of the e-mail message in Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003, the body of the e-mail message does not appear as expected.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server 2003. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, change the encoding of the e-mail message from UTF-8 to Korean.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1.
