SYMPTOMS

Suppose that an appointment were created by using Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) version 1.21 on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer. When you view the appointment in your calendar, the appointment time may be incorrect by one hour. For example, an appointment that should start at 15:00 indicates that it starts at 16:00. This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
  • CDO specifies the Mexico City time zone.
  • The appointment occurs during daylight-saving time.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because CDO 1.21 does not correctly adjust for daylight-saving time for the Mexico City time zone.
