Description of the Microsoft Windows registry On This PageSYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You use the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes to connect Microsoft Exchange Server
2003 to Lotus Notes. The Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes retrieves a message by using the Lotus Notes API. If the message retrieval fails, Exchange
Server 2003 tries to send a non-delivery report (NDR) message. Additionally, Exchange Server 2003 tries to remove the
message. If sending the NDR message fails or if removing the message fails, the Lsntsmex.exe process is restarted. Additionally, although you expect this event to be logged in the Application log, no event is logged
in the Application log. Note The Lsntsmex.exe process is part of the Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
