When you insert the CD for one of the versions of Microsoft Works listed in the "Applies To" section, the Works Setup program does not start. CAUSE
This behavior may occur if Works is already installed on your computer. WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, if you want to remove Works from your computer, reinstall Works, or select a different installation option, use one of the following methods to start the Microsoft Works Installation Wizard. Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. Change your installation option by using Add or Remove programs
Change your installation option by using Setup.exe on the CD

The Works CD is designed so that if Works is already installed on the computer, the Setup program does not start automatically when you insert the CD.
