On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server sends a recurring appointment to a Lotus Notes server through the Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes, an access violation may occur. When this problem occurs, the Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes crashes. Therefore, mail flow is disrupted. CAUSEThis problem may occur if the user who sends the recurring appointment is in one of the following time zones:
RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
