On This PageSYMPTOMSAfter you move all public folder
replicas from a source server that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to a destination Exchange server, you cannot remount the public folder store.
Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log: Event Type: Error
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Exchange OLE DB provider
(ExOLEDB) cannot be started when the events system folder does not have a local
replica on the source server. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install the following hotfix on the source
Exchange server. After you install this hotfix, you can remount the public folder store
even if the events system folder does not have a local replica. However, the following event error message will be logged: Event Type: Error
