When you try to start an application in Microsoft SoftGrid Client, the application does not start. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The SoftGrid Client could not launch application_name.
You must restart this session by logging out and logging in again before you can use the SoftGrid Client.
Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx0E-00002008
This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:
- The SoftGrid Client was installed during a remote desktop session.
When you install the SoftGrid Client during a remote desktop session, the SoftGrid Client requires that you log out and then log back in again before you start any applications.
- The DriveLetter registry value was modified and the system was not restarted.
The DriveLetter registry value is located under the following registry subkey:
When you change the value data of this registry value, you must restart the SoftGrid Client for the change to take effect.
