This issue occurs when you have Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition installed together with optional components, and you then upgrade by using media that is slipstreamed with Windows Server 2003 SP2. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use a Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition CD that is integrated with Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) to upgrade the earlier installation of Windows Server 2003 R2.
