SYMPTOMS

After you install the Microsoft SoftGrid client, the antivirus program that you have installed on the computer may detect the Sftfsxp.sys SoftGrid file as a Trojan horse program that is named Backdoor-BAC.

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • The antivirus program that you have installed is manufactured by McAfee, Inc.
  • The McAfee antivirus program does not have the latest virus signature updates downloaded and installed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download the latest DAT files for the McAfee antivirus program that you have installed. To do this, visit the following McAfee Web site:
