an Exchange Server 2007 environment that has Unified Messaging (UM) enabled,
a UM IP gateway can still be used to dial
out for a "Play on Phone" request after the UM IP gateway is disabled. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log: Event Type: Information Event Source: MSExchange Unified Messaging Event Category: UMCore Event ID: 1075 Description: The Unified Messaging server received a Play on Phone request from "<user name>". The calling number "<extension>" is dialing "sip:<extension>@<IP address>;user=phone" using the IP/VoIP gateway "<IP address>". CAUSEExchange Server 2007 does not check whether the gateway is
disabled before the Exchange server adds the gateway to the list of
gateways. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 7 for
