Article ID: 959397 - Last Review: March 18, 2009 - Revision: 1.1 An increase in database size is generated unexpectedly when IMAP4 users use a Copy command in Exchange 2007SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, you may set a storage limitation for users so that the database has a suitable size and performance. However, when IMAP4 users use a Copy command that copies items from a folder to another folder in the mailbox, an increase in database size is unexpectedly generated. The user's mailbox may exceed the send or receive limitation. CAUSEExchange Server 2007 does not perform a
storage size check during the Copy command.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 7 for
