Description of the Outlook 2003 hotfix package (Engmui.msp, Olkintl.msp): December 16, 2008

This article describes the Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 issues that are fixed in the Outlook 2003 hotfix package that is dated December 16, 2008.

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

• If you have Outlook 2003 and Microsoft Office Project 2007 installed on the same computer, a repair of an Outlook 2003 component generates a repair of Project 2007. Additionally, the operating system is restarted.
  
• If a recipient reads a message in Outlook Web Access without sending a read receipt, a non-read notification is sent to the sender when the recipient deletes the message in Outlook cached mode.

The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
