When you send E-mail over the Internet to newly created recipients you may receive a non-delivery report (NDR) message for these recipients. The NDR message may be as follows:

The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator.

This problem occurs because the Exchange EdgeSync service synchronizes objects between the Messaging and Edge servers every 4 hours.
Run the Start-EdgeSynchronization cmdlet on the Microsoft Windows Essential Business Server 2008 Messaging server to trigger an immediate synchronization.
You can also receive the NDR mentioned in the Symptoms section if the recipient's e-mail address was mistyped when the e-mail was composed or when the user was created on the server.
