SYMPTOMS

After you install Update Rollup 5 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 on an Exchange server, the Japanese (1 byte Kana) characters in the subject and in the display name are corrupted when you try to reply or forward task requests or calendar items in a Microsoft Office Outlook client.

RESOLUTION
