Some dialog boxes may not fit in the screen area of the hardware device when you try use some features in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or in Microsoft Office Word 2007

When you use Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or Microsoft Office Word 2007, a section of the window may be outside the screen area of the hardware device.

• In Outlook, the New Contact dialog does not display all the contents, and there is no scroll bar.  You can display the hidden section of the dialog box by minimizing the Ribbon the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface.  To minimize the Ribbon, click the widget that is on the right side of the Quick Access Toolbar to display the menu.  On the menu, select Minimize the Ribbon.
• In Outlook, the Styles dialog box may not fully display all the contents.  The scroll bar is available for the list of styles, but using it will let you view all the contents.  To view all the contents, click the widget that is next to the Close button in the dialog box. On the menu, click Move or Size.  Then, you can move or size the dialog box as needed.
• In Word, the Manage Sources option on the References tab of the Ribbon is wider than the screen will allow for.  However, you can move the window by dragging the title bar of the window.

This issue may occur if you run the 2007 Microsoft Office suite on a hardware device that has a screen resolution that is 800 × 600 or less. For example, this issue may occur if you try to install the 2007 Microsoft Office suite or run 2007 Microsoft Office programs on an ultra-mobile PC device where the screen resolution is set to 800 × 480.

Note The system requirements for the 2007 Office suite specify a minimum resolution of 1024 × 768.

To work around this issue, change the display resolution to 1024 × 768. If changing the display resolution does not resolve this problem, manually move the dialog box or scroll the window so that you can see the contents.
