Data in a Service Level Tracking report does not appear as expected in Operations Manager 2007 R2

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2, you click a percentage or number in an SLA Summary Report. However, data does not appear as expected in the resultant Service Level Tracking report.

Note Data appears as expected when you click the control button for the percentage or number.

CAUSE

This issue occurs on computers that have both Operations Manager 2007 R2 Reporting and Microsoft SQL Reporting Services 2008 SP1 installed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the fix that is described in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
971491 Cumulative update package 3 for SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
