You receive error message 0019-80070643 when you install Windows Live OneCare

When you try to install Microsoft Windows Live OneCare, you receive the following error message that has the error code 0019-80070643:

The Firewall component of OneCare was not installed correctly. This problem may have happened because a previous installation of the OneCare Firewall is corrupted or because Microsoft Windows XP system files are damaged.

Method 1: Remove third-party antivirus programs and firewall programs

To remove third-party antivirus programs and firewall programs, follow these steps. 1. Click Start, click Run, type appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
2. Under Currently installed programs, locate any third-party antivirus programs or firewall programs.
3. Click the program, and then click Remove.
4. Repeat step 3 for any additional third-party antivirus programs or firewall programs.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Reinstall Windows Live OneCare.

Method 2: Remove the OneCare Firewall components and reinstall OneCare

1. Visit the following Web site to download and install the firewall cleanup utility:
   http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/c/b/4cb845e7-1076-437b-852a-7842a8ab13c8/OneCareCleanUp.exe (http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/c/b/4cb845e7-1076-437b-852a-7842a8ab13c8/onecarecleanup.exe)
2. Run the utility to remove OneCare firewall components.
3. Restart the computer, and then reinstall Windows Live OneCare.

Method 3: Run the WMIC/MOFCOMP steps

1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK. The cmd.exe window opens.
2. Select and then copy the following command because it is format-sensitive:
   wmic /NAMESPACE:\\root path "__namespace.name='wmi'" delete
3. Right-click in the cmd.exe window, click Paste, and then press ENTER.
   Note You may receive an error message when you run this command on Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. If you receive an error message, continue with the rest of the steps in this section.
4. After you run the command in step 2, select and then copy the following command:
   mofcomp %windir%\system32\wbem\wmi.mof
5. Right-click in the cmd.exe window, click Paste, and then press ENTER.
6. After you run the commands successfully, restart the computer, and then reinstall Windows Live OneCare.
