Expand all | Collapse all

INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to prevent the outgoing disclaimer text from being appended to incoming e-mail messages.

MORE INFORMATION

You can configure Sybari Antigen to send notifications to internal senders and recipients and to external senders and recipients. To prevent the outgoing disclaimer text from being appended to incoming e-mail messages, make sure that all the domains that you consider to be internal appear in the Internal Address box in the General Options work panel. To add internal domains to the Internal Address box, follow these steps:
  1. Start the Sybari Client (SybariClient.exe).
  2. In Shuttle Navigator, click General Options.
  3. In the Scanning section, type all the internal domain names in the Internal Address box.

Type the domain names in a semicolon delimited list. For example, type the following text in the Internal Address box:
    domain_name.com;domain_name.net;company_name.com
Note The domain name includes all subdomains. For example, my_domain.com includes the following subdomains:
  • subdomain.my_domain.com
  • subdomain1.my_domain.com
However, the domain name does not include any first-level domain names. For example, my_domain.com does not include my_domain.net.

APPLIES TO
  • Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange
  • Sybari Antigen 8.0 for SMTP Gateways
  • Sybari Antigen 7.5 for Microsoft Exchange
  • Sybari Antigen 7.5 for SMTP Gateways
