INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to upgrade an evaluation version of Sybari Antigen to a fully licensed version of Antigen.

To upgrade an evaluation version of Antigen to a licensed version of Antigen, follow these steps:
  1. Download the licensed version of Antigen. Use the user name and the password that your sales representative provides.
  2. On the Antigen download page, click License.cfg, and then click Save.

    You must install the License.cfg file to convert the evaluation version of Antigen to a licensed version of Antigen.
  3. Save the License.cfg file to the Antigen for Exchange folder. By default, the Antigen for Exchange folder is in the following location:
    C:\Program Files\Sybari Software\Antigen for Exchange
    Overwrite the existing License.cfg file that is in this folder.
  4. Start a command prompt, move to the Antigen for Exchange folder, and then run the following command:
    antigenstarter l
  5. Quit the Sybari Client, and then restart it.

    To confirm that you are running the licensed version of Antigen, click About on the Help menu. Then, review the version information.
