How to install a service pack or a software updateNote We recommend that you review the steps in this section before you install a service pack or a software update.To install a service pack or a software update on an Exchange Server computer that is running Antigen, follow these steps:
An "Unapproved version of Exchange" error is loggedA service pack or a software update may contain a new version of the Exchange Server Ese.dll file. Every time that the Antigen services start, the services examine the version of the Exchange Server Ese.dll file against a list of compatible versions of the Ese.dll file. If the Exchange Server Ese.dll file is not on this list, an "Unapproved version of Exchange" error may be logged in the ProgramLog.txt file when you install the service pack or the software update. When this error occurs, the Realtime scan and all manual scans are disabled. You will not be able to start a manual scan.Note A manual scan is not disabled if either of the following conditions is true:
