Error message when you use the ADOMD.NET data provider in an application to connect to an instance of SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services: "The session, '<SessionID>', does not exist"

SYMPTOMS

When you use the ADOMD.NET data provider in an application to connect to an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services, you receive the following error message:
The session, 'SessionID', does not exist.
This problem occurs if more than 32 sessions are connected to the instance of Analysis Services.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services.
