SYMPTOMS

In the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet, you may receive the following error message when you try to configure a partner configuration to use a certificate:
Party Signature Certificate should be unique

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you try to use the same certificate in multiple partner configurations.

Signing certificates are used to uniquely identify the sender of a document. As a unique identifier, a certificate should be used in only one partner configuration.
