FIX: Some user-defined hierarchies are missing when you view the local cube if you filter some dimensions of the source cube in SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services

Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, you create a local cube from a source cube. When you create the local cube, you filter some dimensions of the source cube so that only certain members of the dimensions are included in the local cube. In this scenario, some user-defined hierarchies of the dimensions that are not filtered are missing when you view the local cube.

The fix for this issue was first released in Cumulative Update 5. You must apply a SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 hotfix to an installation of SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2. By default, any hotfix that is provided in a SQL Server service pack is included in the next SQL Server service pack.
