MORE INFORMATION

Layered windows are created in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)-based applications when the Window.AllowsTransparency property is set to "true." If the PrintWindow function is called on a layered window that was created by a WPF-based application, the application may fail with a System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException exception.
