Consider the following scenario. A mainframe application is used to invoke an APPC or CPI-C application on a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004-based server or on a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2004 client system. The APPC or CPI-C application is defined as a non-queued transaction program (TP).
In this scenario, the Host Integration Server 2004-based server may intermittently log Event 60 and Event 703 warnings similar to the following warnings when an incoming request from the mainframe application is not processed before the Timeout for starting invokable TPs time-out expires:

Event ID: 703
This problem occurs because the Host Integration Server-based server's dynamic access module (DMOD) client/server interface does not review the time that the incoming request from the IBM mainframe was received when it determines which incoming request to process. Therefore, incoming requests that were received later may be processed before incoming requests that were received at an earlier time. This may cause some incoming requests to time out before a TP that can process the request can be invoked.

Note Because of file dependencies, the most recent software update that contains these files may also contain additional files. A hotfix is currently not available for Host Integration Server 2006.
